Mr. Hamid is a senior advisor for International Executive Service Corps, USA, for over 15 years. He is a senior finance executive with extensive international banking, investment, and project finance experience. He has a strong background in investing in emerging markets, structuring investments, negotiating investment agreements between government and institutional investors, managing international investment portfolios, and providing technical assistance to companies in developing countries.

Mr. Hamid is a member of the nine-person Management Committee of the International Finance Corporation, part of the World Bank Group, based in Washington, DC. Responsible for developing and overseeing IFC investments in East Asia and the Pacific Region, including China. IFC promotes sustainable private sector investment in developing countries in order to reduce poverty and improve people’s lives. It is the largest multilateral source of loan and equity finance for private sector projects in developing countries.

Mr. Hamid earned his MBA at Harvard Business School, and a Master of Arts from the University of Cambridge.

He currently resides is Washington, D.C.
