Our sense of pride is alive in our campus Salem’s campus comprises about 100 acres in Salem, West Virginia. The center of the campus is a collection of buildings known as the Valley of Learning, which includes the main administrative and academic buildings, the gymnasium, and the chapel. Residence halls, athletic fields, and other buildings are located in Salem along K.D. Hurley Boulevard and Main Street. The original Administration Building of Salem College is located on Main Street beside the Jennings Randolph House. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is not in active service. Important details on Campus Safety At Salem University, our concern for the safety and well being of our students, faculty and staff is always a top priority. Uniformed security officers are available to respond to emergency and non-emergency situations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For emergencies of crimes in progress, local law enforcement can be contacted by calling 9-1-1 from any campus or non-campus phone. The local 9-1-1 communication center is staffed 24 hours a day.
