We here at Salem have designed our Data Science certification specialization to focus on the growing field of “Big Data” and areas like data warehousing, mining, and analytics, building on top of core computer science concepts like programming languages, operating systems, algorithms, and software engineering. As part of our university’s mission, we maintain a global perspective throughout your curriculum, so that you are better prepared to enter the modern workforce. All of this is brought together in a capstone project where you will demonstrate your mastery of the topics and skills you’ve learned.
