For the past several decades, the engine of the United States economy has been the health care industry. And as career opportunities in this burgeoning field continue to emerge, Salem International University has expanded its existing Master of Business Administration (MBA) program to include a Health Care Management concentration, accommodating potential students looking to take advantage of the field’s continued growth.

The MBA program at Salem International University (SIU) is designed to provide graduates with the knowledge, skill, and ability to effectively implement business principles, tools, and techniques into organizations of any size. The Health Care Management concentration will include five courses, comprising 15 semester credit hours that focus entirely on Health Care Management.

To complete the MBA, students must also complete seven core courses (21 additional semester credit hours) and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The program can be completed in as few as 12 months of continuous enrollment where students take one course per month. It’s targeted at adults who possess a minimum of a baccalaureate degree and will be offered entirely via distance education using the Internet. If there is high student demand for on-campus classes, they may be offered as an option in the future.
