The Salem International University Licensed Practical Nursing Program is a 12 month hands-on program. You'll receive hands-on instruction in courses that cover a wide variety of topics, including:

Body Structure and Function
Foundations of Practical Nursing
Nutrition and Diet Therapy
Professional Communications
Medical-Surgical Practical Nursing
Nursing Care of Older Adults
Mental Health Nursing

A final course is required of all practical nursing students that will prepare for their taking the NCLEX-PN, which is required of candidates for licensure.
