The School of Business offers the Associate of Science in Business Administration (ASBA) and the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA). These degrees are supported by a core of coursework that provides a comprehensive body of knowledge of business fundamentals. Students majoring in Business Administration must elect an area of specialization from Accounting, International Business, Management, Sports Management, Human Resources Management, and Health Care Management. Coursework in these specialization areas help prepare students for careers in these specific areas of Business Administration.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Graduates will demonstrate the following:

1) Knowledge, skills, and abilities in business management, financial management, international business, marketing, statistics, and human resource management.
2) Knowledge, skills, and abilities to compete in the global market economy.
3) Knowledge, skills, and abilities for employment or for admission to advanced programs in the field of business.
4) Ability to communicate information in written, oral, and graphic formats.

Students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration must complete the following general education, international focus and core courses:
General Education: UNV 100, ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 200, COM 104, ECO 252, ECO 253, PSY 100, SOC 110, HIS 153, HIS 154, MAT 109, MAT 140, HED 120, BIO 101, PSC 100, BUS 110 and MGT 361.
International Focus: ENG 203, HIS 125, HIS 126, HIS 210, HIS 305, HIS 215 and ICO 100.
Core: ACC 111, ACC 112, BUS 105, BUS 223, FIN 241, FIN 242, MGT 210, MGT 363, MGT 499 and MKT 231.

In addition to the major, students may complete a specialization in Accounting, International Business, Management, Sports Management, or Human Resources Management.
