The online Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice Degree program explores both domestic and international perspectives on politics, cultures, justice systems and crime challenges. Our online classes encourage students to explore the philosophy and history of the justice system and to develop an understanding of its strengths, weaknesses and continual evolution.

Online learning offers a flexible alternative to the traditional classroom setting with convenient access designed to keep pace with your busy life.  Students are able to fit study time, tests and quizzes around their own schedule.

Graduates will demonstrate the following:

• A world view of the criminal justice process including knowledge of the criminal investigation processes, tools and technology.
• An in-depth knowledge of domestic and international perspectives on politics, cultures and justice systems which affect the field of criminal justice.
• An in-depth knowledge of the history and philosophy of the field of criminal justice.
• Knowledge, skills and abilities for employment in the field of criminal justice or for admission to graduate programs.

In addition to the required general education, international focus and core classes, students must complete the following courses within the crime scene investigation specialization:

• CJU 441 – Crime Scene Photography
• CJU 442 – Latent Prints & Fingerprint ID
• CJU 443 – Blood Patterns & Crime Scenes
• CJU 444 – Ballistics & Firearm ID
• CJU 445 – Courtroom Testimony & Report Writing
