SALEM, W.V. -The Salem International University women's water polo team finished up day one of the First Annual Salem International Women's Water Polo Invitational.

Notre Dame (OH) finished the day with a record of 2-1, with wins over Salem and Gannon. Their lone loss coming at the hands of Virginia Military Institute (VMI)

VMI wrapped up their day with victories over Notre Dame (OH) and host Salem International.

Gannon University had a 1-and-1 day with a loss to Notre Dame and a win against SIU.

Salem International ended the night with a record of 0-and-3.
