RIO GRANDE, O.H. - Senior guard Kenneth McCornell (Cleveland, OH) hit six (6) three's on his way to a game-high 21 points, but it wasn't enough as the Tigers fell short at the hands of The University of Rio Grande (OH), 90-87.

Walter Brock (Brooklyn, NY) had 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting, while Jonathon Roper (Murfreesboro, TN) came away with 16 points on a 6-of-11 performace on the night. Dexter Batts, Jr. (Clinton, MD) rounded out the SIU offensive effort with 11 points.

Salem International University will host Daemen College on February 9th. The Wildcats and the Tigers have met twice this season with Daemen coming out the winner both times.
