CEDARVILLE, O.H. - The Salem International University men's basketball team was handed its fourth consecutive loss by Cedarville University, 95-55, Saturday afternoon at the Callan Athletic Center in Cedarville, OH.
The Tigers' offensive effort was headed up by seniors Kenneth McCornell (Cleveland, OH) and Raymar Porter (Detroit, MI). The duo finished the game with 10 points and three rebounds apiece with McCornell registering a team-leading two assists.
As for Cedarville, which shot 53.1 percent (31-58) from the floor and 57.1% (16-38) from downtown, Brian Grant had 11 points and 12 rebounds to lead six Yellow Jackets in double-figures. Marcus Reineke had 19 points to lead all scorers.
Head Coach Randy Unger and his squad return to action on Tuesday when they travel to the University of Rio Grande (OH). The Tigers beat the Red Storm, 79-63, on December 10th.
