Fayetteville, NC - Salem International's women's basketball team dropped a 90-46 decision at the hands of Fayetteville State Tuesday evening.
The Lady Tigers drop to 1-9 while Fayetteville State improves to 6-1 for the 2012-13 season.
Shakinah Haggins () and Monique Hill led the team, scoring 11 and 10 points. Haggins was 4-of-12 from the field and 3-for-4 from the fould line. She also grabbed nine (9) rebounds.
Hill went 4-of-9 from the field including a 2-of-4 performance from long range.
Salem will get some much needed rest before heading down to Bluefield State College this weekend to take part in the Bluefield State Tournament.
The Lady Tigers are scheduled to play Winston-Salem on December 14th at 4:00 PM before taking on host Bluefield State on December 15th at 6:00 PM. |
