Salem, WV - Game 7 Recap
WVU-Tech's Nia Nolan scored 19 points and Courtney Sturdivant added 14 as the Golden Bears left the 2012 Joe Manchin Classic with a record of 2-0, besting Central State University, 65-59.
CSU's Aryelle Covington scored 13 points to lead the Lady Marauders. Veronne Clark and Tanja Beasley added 12 apiece in the effort.
Game 8 Recap
Central State used a 14-2 run late in the second half and the held off a pesky Newberry squad and take a 73-67 win over the Wolves in the finale of the 2012 Joe Manchin Classic.
The Marauders were led by DeMarkus Isom-Jones' 20 point effort. Lee Tabb added 15 Khari Riley had 13, while Phillip Gates and George Harper both came away with 10 points. Harper cleaned up the glass for nine (9) rebounds.
Newberry was led by Dondray Walker, who registered 13 points. Brandon Riley was the only other member of the squad in double-figures with 11.
