The game marked the second time in as many games that Salem (2-1) has had at least four players score more than 10 points and he's the third Tiger to lead the team in scoring this season. Senior Kenneth McCornell (Cleveland, OH) came away with 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting, including a 4-8 performance from long distance. Dexter Batts, Jr. (Clinton, MD) had 13 points on 5-of-13 shooting. Jonathon "Darius" Roper (Murfreesboro, TN) had 12 points to go along with a game and team-tying eight (8) rebounds, while Raymar Porter (Detroit, MI) rounded out the Tigers with 11 points and five rebounds. Salem returns to the hardwood this Friday and Saturday when they participate in the Shippensburg Classic Shippensburg, PA to take on Lock Haven on Friday and Shippensburg on Saturday. |
