Salem, WV - Mehmet Dogan (Konstanz, Germany) scored just moments into the first period of overtime and gave the Fighting Tigers a 1-0 win over visiting Pikeville (KY) Wednesday at Catalano Stadium.

The win moves Salem International University to 7-4-0 on the season with just three games remaining in the regular season. Salem will need to post at least a .500 record if they are to be eligible for the 2012 ECAC Men's Soccer Championship Tournament.

Salem will travel to Cedarville University on October 20th before going to Gallaudet on October 26th and finishing out the regular season at Asbury (KY).
