Salem, WV - Salem International University's women's soccer team lost to Point Park University Friday afternoon at Catalano Stadium, 6-0.

The loss drops the Lady Tigers to 3-8-0 for the 2012 campaign.

An SIU miscue in the box resulted in Kristina Stammer's penalty kick goal in the 8th minute that took the wind out of the Lady Tiger's sail.

"Our momentum went down and obviously so did our confidence.," said SIU Coach Ernesto Ramirez. "But, we have things to do and improve. The season is not over yet and we have more games play."

Salem International will work to get things back on track when they welcome Pitt-Johnstown to Catalano Stadium on October 9th at 2:00 PM
