Salem, WV - Salem International University managed a game-high 22 shots, but none found the back of the net as the Tigers were defeated by Alderson-Broaddus, 1-0, Tuesday afternoon at Catalano Stadium.

The Battler's Jose Noriega scored the game's only goal in the 27th minute when Mike Creed served up a pass via a corner kick for what would be the game winning goal.

The Tiger's will take a much needed rest until they put their 3-3-0 record up against Penn State-Beaver on October 2nd. Kickoff is set for 5:00 PM at Catalano Stadium.
