Salem, WV - Salem International University women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Thiel on Saturday at Catalano Stadium, 2-0.

"We came out and played hard against a very competitive team in Thiel," said Coach Ernesto Ramirez. "We managed to get a few shots on goal, but we just couldn't capitalize. I'll take a lot of positives out of this (game)."

The Lady Tigers are scheduled to play Virginia Intermont on Monday, a rescheduled game that was originally to be played earlier this week.

"With one day to rest we definitely want to keep the momentum that we had today," he continued. "I'm very positive and assured that the girls will do their best."
