Washington, D.C - Dwayne Phidd (St. Thomas, Jamaica) scored his second penalty kick of the season to lift the Salem International University Tigers to a 1-0 win against Washington Adventist University Friday in Washington, D.C. SIU evens their record at 2-2-0, while the Shock drop to 2-4-0 for the 2012 season. Javier Reyes (Perris, CA) earned the shutout victory in his first stint in the net for Salem. Salem continues their two-game road trip on September 17th when they travel to Bristol, VA to take on Virginia Intermont. Kickoff is set for 3:00 PM.
