Erie, PA - Salem International University's men's water polo team dropped another heart-breaker tonight, this time to CWPA rival Penn-State Behrend, 15-12, before dropped a 19-8 decision against Mercyhurst in Erie, PA Saturday.

Against Behrend, the Tigers saw their 7-6 lead at half dwindle in the third behind a nine-goal second half effort by the Lions.

Borislav Kovacev (Becej, Serbia) led the effort for SIU, scoring a season-high four goals. Kameron Schlegel (Mohnton, PA), Ryan Wells (Glendora, CA), and Jorge Flores (San Diego, CA) all chipped in two apiece.

In the nightcap, Mercyhurst controlled the game en route to an 18-9 victory for the Lakers.

Stats were unavailable at the time of publication for the Mercyhurst game.

Salem will finish out their Erie, PA trip at 11:00 AM Sunday morning, taking on Gannon University.
