Salem, WV -- Salem International University lost to Ohio Valley, 5-0, in women's soccer action Tuesday afternoon at Catalano Stadium. The Lady Tigers slip to 0-2 while OVU starts the 2012 campaign off with a record of 1-0.

Salem International was on the defensive throughout the contest as the Lady Tigers were outshot, 25-1. Ohio Valley's Victoria Bruce got the route started, scoring two goals in the first 15 minutes. An assist by Bruce in the 25th to Samantha Flynn made the score 3-0 and put the game out of reach.

Salem's Whitney Brydge (Stuarts Draft, VA) came away with 10 saves in the contest.

The Tigers return to the pitch on September 8th when they welcome Chowan to Catalano Stadium. Game time is scheduled for 2:00 PM.
