Annapolis, MD -- The U.S Naval Academy's men's water polo jv squad used a strong defensive effort in the second quarter to pull away from SIU in Saturday's nightcap of the 2012 Navy Open.

Salem International's Kameron Schlegel (Mohnton, PA), Jorge Flores (San Diego, CA), and Ryan Wells (Glendora, CA) each came away with two goals in the effort.

SIU will take on Lindenwood at 7:00 AM Sunday morning with a game against Cerritos at 10:40 AM.

Tournament Notes:

SIU freshman Kameron Schlegel has eight goals in his first two games as a Tiger. Fellow freshman Jorge Flores has five, while Paul Stube and Ryan wells have added three as many games played.
