Mission of Student Support Services: The mission of Student Support Services at Salem University is to advance and define the ideal of equal opportunity in higher education. The program provides tutoring, counseling, enrichment activities to first-generation, low-income, and disabled students. These services recognize the diversity of backgrounds and learning styles that help participants remain in college and earn a post-secondary degree. In order to accomplish this, the program develops relationships with institutions, organizations, and Salem University departments to promote an environment conducive to the completion of a post-secondary education. The program functions as an integral part of Salem University’s overall mission of preparing global citizens with broad knowledge, marketable professional skills, and the ability to make decisions with integrity.

Location
Student Support Services is located on the 2nd floor of the Learning Resource Center (Benedum Library).
Selection Process
Space is limited in our program. To qualify you must be eligible for Federal Financial Aid and meet at least one of the following conditions:
If you believe that you meet at least one of the conditions, then you would fill out an application and have a brief interview with a Student Support Services staff member.
