Campus Safety
At Salem University, our concern for the safety and well being of our students, faculty, and staff is always top priority.
Uniformed security officers are available to respond to emergency and non-emergency situations 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can contact the Security Officer on Duty at ext. 302 from on campus or 326-1302 from a non-campus phone.
For emergencies of crimes in progress, local law enforcement can be contacted by calling 9-1-1 from any campus or non-campus phone. The local 9-1-1 communication center is staffed 24 hours a day.
For non-emergencies you may contact the Security Office during normal business hours at 326-1546.
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, prospective and current students, parents, staff, faculty and employees can view the most recent Annual Clery Act report HERE or a printed copy can be requested by contacting the Security Office at 326-1546
